Sun King was sired by Native Flame who retired at Grade Three where he sired Van Guard, and others. She remained in the top three of the Triple Tiara and while her attitude got in the way she kept a strong deposition on the track. Sired by Radiance who won races of great caliber that earned him in the spot in the Hall of Fame table.
